The 420 Message
Statistically it is reported that there are 30 million people in the United States that use Marijuana, which is approximately 10% of the population. It is however approx. 36% of the total votes cast in the 2008 Presidential Election. It screams the question, Why is Marijuana still illegal in the USA?

Because these 30 million people have simply never united to make their voices heard. The 420 Message is a movement started to do just that. It is designed to very simply send a strong message to ALL Politicians that the time has come to actually make a change that matters. This is not about making it legal for a bunch of stoners to get high. It is about building a positive future in the United States and creating new jobs, even new industries. Are you aware that the US has spent 14 Billion Dollars importing Hemp from Canada? That the first car built by Henry Ford had a body made from Hemp (stronger than fiberglass) and that it ran on Hemp Oil (bio-fuel)? That Hemp can be used to make paper & clothing. There are over 100 known positive uses of Marijuana/Hemp beyond the positive medical uses, it is time that this taxpayers money pit be abolished once and for all.

The war on drugs has failed and there is absolutely no sound reason why Marijuana is listed as a schedule 1 drug. All that needs to happen to make a positive change is to change the schedule rating. And yet here we are in what some believe to be the best Country on Earth with our Courts and Prisons swelling to the bursting point over what is very clearly a victimless crime. Taxpayer Dollars wasted every day over a plant that could actually help us out of our current economic stress.

How can we help you ask? The 420 Message is a very simple movement, all you need to do is Donate $4.20 to Politicians of YOUR choice on 4-20-2012. Want to Donate more? Do so in 420 increments, $4.20, $42.00, $420.00, etc. If each of the statistically mentioned 30 million Marijuana users donated just $4.20 it would equal $126 Million Dollars. That is a Message that the Politicians will understand. Even better would be to donate $4.20 every week from now till April and even beyond if you are so inclined to do so? Simple actually, you’d only be giving up say a BigMac once a week.

Get involved, Ask the questions, Make YOUR Donations to Politicians that support Marijuana Legalization. In the current Presidential Election it is very clear that only one candidate supports this, Dr. Ron Paul. But The 420 Message is not trying to promote a single candidate and we believe that this should not be limited to just the Presidential Election. Rather it should extend to ALL elected Government Officials, National, State and even County.

It is clearly time for a change and as one of the largest minorities in this great country, it is time for us to send the message. Make your voices heard, tell every one you know about the 420 Message, spread the word, make the donation, tell the Politicians how YOU feel !!!

This was posted on a forum by one of the founders of the The 420 Message Movement. The post was deleted and the user was banned (it was a 420 forum, what a shame) Felt it needed repeating here as the threat to our freedoms are REAL!!!

This thread came up in one of my searches that involved a 420 movement we have started at my site (not here to pimp my site) So I read the whole thread and felt that I should join and post.

I am a Colorado Care Giver, I have written a book that teaches new growers how to grow but mostly how to read their plants. I have developed many growing techniques and designed/invented a fermentation chamber for curing. I served 3 yrs for possession and was in prison with the Snowman of Falcon & Snowman fame (book & movie). Enough about me.

I would like to say that I saw 2 very important points in this thread, single issue voting movement (which can be very potent if done correctly) and sides issue, by that I mean left vs right, republican vs democrat, prolife vs prochoice etc. The Capitalist Machine keeps us busy with these presumed issues while they do things behind our backs using the most basic of known rules LOL Divide and Conquer.

Not here to start or buy into any of the conspiracy crap but there are a few issues that are not being discussed that affect the freedom bells ability to ring. The Patriot Act, Bushes baby, held up by Obama, allowing warrantless no knock raids. The NDAA, signed into law by Obama Dec 31st killing Habeas Corpus and the bill of rights. SOPA not yet a law, but they are trying to get control of the internet so that discussions like this are suppressed. And Please look at the new FEMA camps they are building. Due dilligence and a few Google searches will show you that our LIBERTY is being taken away while we fight over issues that keep us busy and blind to what the Machine truly wants.

If you look at the voting records of every politician running you will see that they ALL voted for the Patriot Act and NDAA with one exception Dr Ron Paul. ( this is also true of other issues, true voting records can be viewed at Thomas.gov )

I am yet another person in their 50′s that has watched first hand over the years as our once great America declines, as our freedoms and rights have been taken away, as our jobs and dollar value have all but disappeared. Our Dollar is now worth 4 cents. (96% loss since it was 100% in 1913) Folks the only Politician that actually wants to return us to a great America is Ron Paul.

As far as folks being worried about Ron Pauls Foreign Policy? A former head of the CIA has come out endorsing it recently (there is a youtube vid) explaining very clearly why it is the best of all potential policies. Ron Paul has an overwhelming popularity with our US Military getting more campaign donations from them than all others combined.

And imagine what it might have been like for a Black man married to a White woman in the 60′s? Just such a man paid for an ad in NH out of his own pocket to tell his story of how when his wife was dying and he had no money or insurance that Dr Ron Paul gave her medical attention at no cost. Those saying/thinking that Ron Paul wants to put us out on the street to fend for ourselves are very mislead.

The list goes on and on, if you ignore the hype from main stream media and do a bit of research on your own, it becomes very clear who is working for US and who is a puppet for the Machine.

It is not a single issue to end the drug war that is at stake here, it is our personal freedoms. A vote for any other candidate than Ron Paul will be a vote to continue on the path we are on now! Please do the research, Please take a look for yourselves. I promise I’m not making any of this up
